What motivates you to contribute to excellence in STEM teaching?

STEM education encompasses more than the mere instruction of subjects; it involves nurturing critical thinking, fostering creativity, and empowering students to become innovative problem solvers. My primary objective is to inspire curiosity in students, assist them in realizing their potential, prepare them for future challenges, and demonstrate that the learning process is an engaging and explorative journey.

What has been the most transformative moment that affirmed your impact on STEM education?

Transformative moments in education occur when I demonstrate my belief in my students, foster a supportive learning environment, and promote exploration and curiosity in every lesson. The true value of STEM education lies in developing confident, capable problem-solvers who have the potential to make a meaningful impact on the world.

Using your platform as a Presidential Awardee, how do you hope to advance our nation in STEM?

I believe that every child has the potential to pursue careers in science, engineering, mathematics, or technology. By removing barriers and engaging students with stimulating learning experiences, we can unlock significant potential across our nation. My goal is to continue fostering enthusiasm for STEM among elementary students through after-school programs. Together, we can inspire the next generation of problem solvers, innovators, and leaders.
