Biography

Fatimah Aboueisha is a passionate educator with over ten years of experience in public education. She currently serves as an Associate Dean at a high school, where she collaborates with staff and students to drive academic achievement, support instructional growth, and foster a positive campus culture. Previously, Fatimah spent two years as the Academic Dean at Legacy Middle School, where she worked closely with teachers to enhance instructional practices and improve student outcomes. Before transitioning into campus leadership, she served as the Science Department Head and biology teacher at Brandeis High School for three years. Her earlier teaching experience includes teaching chemistry at Memorial High School and Stevens High School. Driven by a deep belief in the power of education, Fatimah has sought roles that allow her to expand her impact beyond the classroom. She has served on the Texas Education Committee to review STAAR assessment questions and has led numerous district and campus professional development sessions, particularly in the areas of integrating technology in science instruction and strategies for teaching Emergent Bilingual students. Fatimah holds a Bachelor of Arts in Science from the University of Texas at San Antonio and a Master of Education in Educational Leadership from Lamar University. She is certified to teach all sciences for grades 7–12 and also holds a Texas Principal Certification.
