I am eager to invite students and teachers into a world of curiosity, innovation, and creativity within STEM education through published articles, learning experiences, and exemplary teaching practices with the goal of encouraging a robust number of STEM students to pursue these careers.
I have been the editor for these two internationally acclaimed professional journals- American Biology Teacher (NABT) and The Science Teacher (NSTA). My involvement with these journals provided the opportunity to publish innovative science teaching methods that moved the profession forward.
I have worked tirelessly to encourage students to pursue STEM careers and to share exemplary STEM teaching practices with future STEM teachers as well as inservice STEM teachers.
