Receiving recognition for my teaching is validating and humbling. I reflect on my practice daily and work hard to make sure my students are getting an education that meets them where they are at and encourages them to grow. The Presidential Award is an absolute honor and energizes me to continue learning to provide the best possible educational experience for my students.
