The Presidential Award is an honor to receive and recognition for not only my teaching, but more so for the motivation, determination, and capacity of my students. My students' willingness to take on the challenges I present, regardless of their previous experience with mathematics and life, is what keeps me coming back each day and each year. For me personally, growth as a professional is so important, and this award will allow me to continue to master my craft and reach even more students.
