The Presidential Award represents the aspirations of generations of teachers everywhere, the recognition that your efforts have inspired students to love learning, and the respect for the hard work it takes every day in the classroom. Great teaching requires establishing a personal relationship with each student; it demands flexibility, compassion, content knowledge, humor, and a willingness to try different things.  I look forward to sharing my passion and experiences with other educators.
