I am honored to be a recipient of this Presidential Award. At a young age, I knew I wanted to be a teacher. This award embodies the hopes and dreams of that little girl who, like our students, was eager to learn and explore the world. It is also a symbol of my dedication to education and my endless pursuit for knowledge. I am proud to be part of a unique group of educators who inspire children to love and learn mathematics.
