It is a tremendous honor and privilege to receive the Presidential Award. This award is recognition of the time, commitment, and dedication I have for the teaching profession. However, it is also recognition of the support of my family, students, colleagues, administrators, and mentors who have inspired and helped me grow throughout my teaching career. I look forward to more opportunities for learning and growing as a mathematics educator in the years to come.
