Like so many others in our profession, I have put in countless hours throughout my career working to bring meaningful mathematical experiences to my students and to grow and improve as a teacher. The Presidential Award serves as recognition—from the highest levels of policy and science in the nation—that such work is understood, valued, and respected.
The official biography below was current at the time of the award.
