Ryan Goodfellow has been the Mediterranean District’s science instructional systems specialist for the past year. He spent the previous 14 years with the Department of Defense Education Activity teaching science and math in Portugal, Japan, and Germany. Most recently, he taught at Vilseck American High School in Germany. As an instructional systems specialist, Ryan supports 18 schools in Portugal, Spain, Italy, Turkey, and Bahrain. He is working with these schools to help promote the use of technology in math and science classrooms, and build networks of teachers to help foster collaboration.  Mr. Goodfellow is dedicated to the work of educating the children of our military families stationed around the world and ensuring that these children receive the highest quality mathematics and science instruction possible. Ryan works with students to develop their ability to communicate and apply their understanding of mathematics and science. This was evident in a recent robotics competition that he hosted with schools from Brussels, Germany, Italy, and Portugal.
