Scott Johnson has been an educator for 19 years. He has spent the last 16 of those years teaching chemistry, as well as anatomy and physiology at Century High School in Bismarck, ND. His first three years of teaching were at West Fargo High School in North Dakota. He is the department chair at Century High and is involved in many levels of curriculum development on committees at the district level. At the state level, he is the president-elect for the North Dakota Science Teachers Association. Scott's passion for teaching is exhibited in his interactive and investigative approaches. Students are constantly challenged to explore the depths of their understanding through hands-on investigations and to use their knowledge to explain the latest scientific developments in a wide variety of applications.  For his students, the science classroom is an environment of scientific inquiry and a never-waning desire to learn how new information can be used to solve real-world problems. The possibilities for future implementations are limitless. Students are encouraged to never stop dreaming and to continue honing the skills to make those dreams a reality. Scott has a B.A. in science education from Concordia College in Moorhead, MN, and a M.S. in education from the University of North Dakota.
