It is a tremendous distinction to represent the best teachers in the nation who dedicate their lives to uplifting their students and inspiring a love for mathematics education. It is an honor to share best practices and hopefully influence the lives of students not only in my classroom, but in classrooms across the country. I am humbled and extremely grateful to be recognized for an award that shines a spotlight on the positive things happening in American education.
